The Asia-Pacific Environmental and Occupational Dermatology Symposiums started because of the initiative of Professor Goh Chee Leok, with the first meeting held in Singapore in June 1991. Therefore, Professor Goh is rightly regarded as the “father of APEODS!”
The APEODS group comprises eminent dermatologists in Asia-Pacific countries, who are interested in contact dermatitis.
The major aim of the APEODS group is to further the understanding of environmental and occupational contact dermatitis through regional biennial meetings of interested dermatologists.
